I live in a rural part of South Lincolnshire; in the evenings I like to sit back and relax and look across the Fens and watch the sun set over the Kesteven Hills in the distance.
I'm not a materialistic person, I prefer the simple pleasures in life. I would describe myself as good natured, easy going and loyal to my friends. Some might say I have a surreal sense of humour with a view of life to match. I have eclectic tastes in music and appreciate most types.
I like to feel I'm being creative. My varied interests include reading, good conversation, drawing, watercolour painting and keeping fit.
I'm a member of the Wildlife Trust and have been involved with volunteer conservation work on various nature reserves. I also support various animal sanctuaries and rescue centres.
I have previously been a member of WWOOF and although not currently active I still have a general interest in all things organic.
I am interested in heritage and have played a part in the restoration and operation of a nearby historic windmill. I am now learning to be a volunteer flour miller in my spare time.
I am not really interested in t.v. or the 'tabloid media'; I would rather get involved with the local community whenever possible. However, I do like to keep informed on current affairs and try to form my own opinions on what's really going on in the world.
It would be great to meet someone of a similar age and outlook, initially for friendship and maybe romance.
